Tearing across the Irish swells in a RIB boat is a thrilling experience that will get your heart pounding and quite literally ‘blow away' those cobwebs. The boats can reach speeds of up to 30mph and when your at sea, dancing over the waves, feels very fast indeed!. As well as the excitement of the ride itself, our skippers are local born and bread and know everything there is to know about the area. As part of the ‘scenic trip', they will take you to wreck sites from past shipping catastrophes and tell you fascinating tales of disaster in our waters. They will also take you to see some of the most impressive cliff formations including hidden caves only accessible by boat.
If you fancy driving the boat yourself, then a 1day powerboat course will be right up your street. You will spend the day learning how to manoeuvre and drive the boat, achieving a nationally recognised level 1 Powerboat certificate.
Dress: Warm clothing
Duration: Scenic trips last 1½ hours and each trip can take up to 9 people. The level 1 power boat course is Nationally recognised and is a one day course. The level 2 course is internationally recognised and is 2 days long.
Food and Drink: We can provide packed lunches or we can lay on a buffet lunch.
