Anglesey has long been a haven for sea anglers, from either the shore or afloat; the fishing opportunities for novices and expert anglers are endless. The Anglesey coastline is littered with different types of sea bed, ranging from rocks, reefs, sand banks to mud flats and shingled areas, all this together with quickly accessible wrecks.
The Irish Sea has an abundance of both deep and shallow wrecks which play host to many different species of fish; being part of the shipping lanes into Liverpool, over centuries now ships caught in severe storms or sunk during World War II have been lost in these seas.
